Old, Narrow Streets
Boston and Cambridge have narrow streets, low bridges and parkways that are closed to trucks, such as Storrow Drive and Memorial Drive. Car carriers can't reach many homes in the city, so plan to meet the driver somewhere with more room.
Tip: Pick an Easy Delivery Spot
Many Boston and Cambridge streets are too narrow or crowded for a 75-foot car carrier. A large parking lot near the Mass Pike or I-93 is often the easiest place to meet the driver.
